In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Twin Valley Panthers basketball team scored a tight 67-64 triumph over the Rural Retreat Indians.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Eastside Spartans (Coeburn, VA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 23. Twin Valley will attempt to better on its 17-7 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 21-4 record after their 60-38 non-league win over Grundy (Grundy, VA).
With the defeat, Rural Retreat moves to 19-6 on the year.
