Spring Valley Vikings (Columbia, SC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC), 11-9 in a non-league battle.
The Vikings now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Christ Church Episcopal for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 25.
In their next game, the Fighting Green Hornets clash with the Blythewood Bengals (Blythewood, SC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 23. Aiken will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Bengals come into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 10-7 non-league loss to Lexington (Lexington, SC).
