Florida High School Lacrosse - Cypress Creek drops to Mitchell

Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL) boosters exited the stadium content Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the visiting Cypress Creek Coyotes (Wesley Chapel, FL), 17-12 in a non-league battle.

The Mustangs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wiregrass Ranch for a 2A D9 battle on Thursday, February 23. Mitchell will clash with a Bulls squad coming off a 18-0 non-league loss to Manatee (Bradenton, FL). The Bulls record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Coyotes clash with the East Lake Eagles (Tarpon Springs, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, February 23. Cypress Creek will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 9-6 non-league loss to St. Petersburg (St. Petersburg, FL).
