The New Castle Trojans tipped the host Lapel Bulldogs basketball team by a final score of 48-45 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Muncie Central Bearcats (Muncie, IN) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. New Castle will attempt to move on its 10-9 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 2-0 record after their 59-40 non-league win over Fort Wayne South Side (Fort Wayne, IN).
With the defeat, Lapel moves to 2-4 on the year.
