Serrano Diamondbacks (Phelan, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Silverado Hawks (Victorville, CA), 17-1 in a league challenge.

The Diamondbacks now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Barstow for a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23.

With the loss, Silverado falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Sultana (Hesperia, CA) to battle the Sultans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 1. The Sultans enter the challenge with a record of 0-1.
