Georgia High School Soccer - Franklin County knocks off Elbert County

Franklin County Lions (Carnesville, GA) fans were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Elbert County Blue Devils (Elberton, GA), 6-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Towns County Indians (Hiawassee, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 28. Franklin County will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record.

The Blue Devils now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rabun County for a 1A D-I Area 8 challenge on Friday, February 24. Elbert County will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Banks County (Homer, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-1.
