Texas High School Softball - Aledo can't hold off Midway

The Midway Panthers softball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Aledo Bearcats to 5 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Midway moves its record to 7-1 on the year. The Panthers travel to Wylie (Wylie, TX) to clash with the Pirates in a non-league game on Thursday, February 23. The Pirates come into the game with a record of 0-3. Wylie lost 8-5 in their recent non-league game against Harlan (San Antonio, TX)
In their next game, the Bearcats clash with the V.R. Eaton Eagles (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Aledo will attempt to move on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 12-9 non-league loss to Antonian Prep (San Antonio, TX).
