Texas High School Softball - Alvarado can't hold off Maypearl

The Maypearl Panthers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Alvarado Indians to 11 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Maypearl moves its record to 1-2 on the year. The Panthers travel to Springtown (Springtown, TX) to clash with the Porcupines in a non-league game on Friday, February 24. The Porcupines come into the game with a record of 2-1.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Lorena Leopards (Lorena, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, February 23. Alvarado will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Leopards come into the game with a 5-2 record after their 7-5 non-league loss to Stephenville (Stephenville, TX).
