Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX), 10-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wagner for a 5A Region IV District 26 challenge on Tuesday, March 7.

With the loss, Harlandale falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Johnson (San Antonio, TX) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, February 23. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. Johnson won 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Churchill (San Antonio, TX)
