Los Altos Conquerors (Hacienda Heights, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Citrus Valley Blackhawks (Redlands, CA), 8-6 in a non-league challenge.

The Conquerors now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Yucaipa for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 22. Los Altos will battle a Thunderbirds squad coming off a 4-2 non-league win over Great Oak (Temecula, CA). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 4-1.

With the loss, Citrus Valley falls to 0-6 on the campaign. The Blackhawks host Roosevelt (Eastvale, CA) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 22. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Roosevelt won 12-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA)
