The Tulare Western Mustangs softball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Mt. Whitney Pioneers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Tulare Western improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Monache (Porterville, CA) to clash with the Marauders in a non-league game on Thursday, March 2. The Marauders come into the game with a record of 2-1.

In their next game, the Pioneers clash with the Exeter Monarchs (Exeter, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 28. Mt. Whitney will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Monarchs come into the game with a 1-1 record after their 13-3 non-league win over Granite Hills (Porterville, CA).
