The Newman Greenies baseball team (New Orleans, LA), was overwhelmed 6-0 in Wednesday's non-league outing with the host Archbishop Hannan Hawks (Covington, LA)
The Hawks now hold a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Blocton for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 22. Archbishop Hannan will confront a Tigers team coming off a 13-0 non-league loss to Vincent (Vincent, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.
Next, the Greenies confront the Bonnabel Bruins (Kenner, LA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, February 23. Newman will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Bruins go into the outing with a 0-1 record after their 28-0 non-league loss to Covenant Christian Academy (Houma, LA).
