The Westwood Warriors crushed the host South Mountain Jaguars baseball team by a count of 25-2 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to North for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 22. Westwood will face a Mustangs team coming off a 22-3 non-league loss to Kellis (Glendale, AZ). The Mustangs record now stands at 0-1.
Next, the Jaguars face the Kellis Cougars (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 22. South Mountain will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 22-3 non-league win over North (Phoenix, AZ).
