In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Columbia Eagles basketball team scored a good 58-42 triumph over the Althoff Catholic Crusaders.
In their next game, the Eagles meet the Wesclin Warriors (Trenton, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 23. Columbia will attempt to move on its 24-8 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 27-4 record after their 70-44 league win over Chester (Chester, IL).
With the defeat, Althoff Catholic moves to 18-14 on the year.
