De La Salle Spartans (Concord, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Branson Bulls (Ross, CA), 62-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, De La Salle upgrades its record to 25-4 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA) to play the Pride in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Pride come into the bout with a record of 28-1. Salesian College Preparatory won 60-45 in their recent non-league bout against San Ramon Valley (Danville, CA)

Next up, the Bulls play the San Ramon Valley Wolves (Danville, CA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, February 24. Branson will attempt to upgrade on its 22-7 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 25-6 record after their 60-45 non-league loss to Salesian College Preparatory (Richmond, CA).
