In Wednesday's non-league match, the visiting Thornton Wildcats basketball team scored a decisive 77-28 triumph over the Bremen Braves.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 23. Thornton will attempt to better on its 26-4 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 13-17 record after their 57-51 non-league win over Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL).

With the defeat, Bremen moves to 7-24 on the year.
