Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Cortez Colts (Phoenix, AZ), 69-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Deer Valley upgrades its record to 24-4 on the season. The Skyhawks host Prescott (Prescott, AZ) to play the Badgers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Badgers go into the bout with a record of 23-4. Prescott won 71-50 in their recent non-league bout against Arizona College Prep (Chandler, AZ)
