Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Monessen knocked off by Union

The Union Knights/Damsels basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Monessen Greyhounds to 58 in the Knights/Damsels non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Knights/Damsels now sport a 13-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cameron County for a non-league contest on Wednesday, February 21. Union will battle a Raiders team coming off a 54-43 non-league loss to Otto-Eldred (Duke Center, PA). The Raiders record now stands at 20-4.
The Greyhounds (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against Union Area (New Castle, PA). The Scotties enter the non-league contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, Union Area ran past Hillel Academy (Pittsburgh, PA), 67-43, in a non-league contest.
