Pope Greyhounds (Marietta, GA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA), 72-50 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pope upgrades its record to 23-5 on the season. The Greyhounds host Douglas County (Douglasville, GA) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 24. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 18-12. Douglas County won 54-41 in their recent non-league bout against Shiloh (Snellville, GA)
