Kentucky High School Basketball - Frederick Douglass can't hold off Anderson County

The Anderson County Bearcats basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Frederick Douglass Broncos to 53 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Bearcats now sport a 26-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Jessamine for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Anderson County will battle a Colts team coming off a 49-46 non-league win over Boyle County (Danville, KY). The Colts record now stands at 23-6.
The Broncos (18-8) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY). The Valkyries enter the non-league contest with a 22-7 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart nudged Pikeville (Pikeville, KY), 68-50, in a non-league contest.
