The Beaverton Beavers basketball team (Beaverton, MI), was nudged 50-45 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Breckenridge Huskies (Breckenridge, MI)
The Huskies now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fulton for a Mid-State battle on Friday, February 23. Breckenridge will battle a Pirates team coming off a 63-36 non-league loss to Bath (Bath, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 13-8.
The Beavers (10-9) will now prepare for their battle against Gladwin (Gladwin, MI). The Flying G's come into the Jack Pine battle with a 11-8 record. In their last battle, Gladwin was nudged by Evart (Evart, MI), 72-33, in a non-league battle.
