The Benzie Central Huskies (Benzonia, MI) basketball nipped the host Manistee Chippewas (Manistee, MI), 37-32 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Huskies (10-9) will now prepare for their test against Suttons Bay (Suttons Bay, MI). The Norsemen go into the Northwest test with a 1-17 record. In their last test, Suttons Bay was tipped by Frankfort (Frankfort, MI), 67-26, in a league test.
The Chippewas now own a 8-11 record. They play next when they travel to Fremont for a Western Michigan - Lakes test on Friday, February 23. Manistee will encounter a Packers squad coming off a 59-50 non-league loss to Mason County Central (Scottville, MI). The Packers record now stands at 15-4.
