Bourbon County Colonels (Paris, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Nicholas County Bluejackets (Carlisle, KY), 43-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Bourbon County upgrades its record to 9-20 on the season. The Colonels host East Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Jaguars go into the bout with a record of 7-22. East Jessamine lost 62-44 in their recent non-league bout against Lexington Christian (Lexington, KY)
