The Whitmore Lake Trojans basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Canton Preparatory Chargers to 27 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Trojans now sport a 5-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pinckney for a non-league contest on Friday, February 23. Whitmore Lake will meet a Pirates team coming off a 45-39 league win over Adrian (Adrian, MI). The Pirates record now stands at 8-12.

The Chargers (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Chavez Academy (Detroit, MI). The Aztec Eagles enter the Detroit Metro contest with a 6-5 record. In their last contest, Chavez Academy was routed by Taylor Prep (Taylor, MI), 53-34, in a non-league contest.
