In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Deep Creek Hornets basketball team scored a decisive 64-41 triumph over the Salem Sundevils.
In their next game, the Hornets meet the Princess Anne Cavaliers (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 23. Deep Creek will attempt to better on its 22-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the match with a 21-2 record after their 56-53 non-league win over Kellam (Virginia Beach, VA).
With the defeat, Salem moves to 14-7 on the year.
