Dixie Heights Colonels (Edgewood, KY) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pendleton County Wildcats (Falmouth, KY), 64-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dixie Heights upgrades its record to 16-11 on the season. The Colonels travel to Franklin County (Frankfort, KY) to play the Flyers in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Flyers go into the bout with a record of 23-6. Franklin County won 58-53 in their recent non-league bout against Bullitt East (Mt. Washington, KY)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Robertson County Black Devils (Mt. Olivet, KY) in a District 38 bout, on Monday, February 26. Pendleton County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-20 season record. The Black Devils go into the bout with a 15-14 record after their 60-42 non-league loss to Paris (Paris, KY).
