In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Heartland Christian Lions basketball team scored a good 50-33 triumph over the Open Door Christian Patriots.
In their next game, the Lions meet the Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 24. Heartland Christian will attempt to better on its 14-9 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 16-7 record after their 59-16 non-league win over Oberlin (Oberlin, OH).
With the defeat, Open Door Christian moves to 9-11 on the year.
