The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Chapin Eagles (Chapin, SC) and the host J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC), witnessed Chapin's lacrosse squad top J.L. Mann by a tally of 14-5.

The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to James F. Byrnes for a non-league test on Friday, February 23. Chapin will face a Rebels squad coming off a 30-0 non-league win over Westside (Anderson, SC). The Rebels record now stands at 1-0.

In their next game, the Patriots face the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, February 26. J.L. Mann will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
