The Gila Ridge Hawks baseball team scored 28 runs and limited the host Carl Hayden Community Falcons to 1 in the Hawks non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Hawks (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Perry (Gilbert, AZ). The Pumas go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Perry gained a win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ), 8-6, in a non-league match.
