Friendswood Mustangs (Friendswood, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting HCYA (Houston, TX), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ball for a challenge on Tuesday, February 27.

With the loss, HCYA falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The travel to Santa Fe (Santa Fe, TX) to face the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
