The crowd at Wednesday's non-league test between the Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA) and the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), saw Union County's soccer squad triumph over Fannin County by a count of 7-0.
The Panthers now hold a 4-1 record. They play next when they host Athens Academy for a 2A Area 8 test on Thursday, February 29.
With the loss, Fannin County drops to 3-2 on the season. The Rebels host Murray County (Chatsworth, GA) to meet the Indians in a 2A Area 7 test on Tuesday, February 27. The Indians come into the test with a record of 0-4. Murray County lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Dalton Academy (Dalton, GA)
