Texas High School Baseball - Bangs defeats Stanton

The Bangs Dragons baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Stanton Buffaloes to 0 in the Dragons non-league win on Friday.

The Dragons now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Goldthwaite for a 2A Region I District 7 test on Saturday, February 22. Bangs will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 13-7 league loss to Coleman (Coleman, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Stanton drops to 3-2 on the year. The Buffaloes travel to Ballinger (Ballinger, TX) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. The Bearcats go into the test with a record of 0-1. Ballinger lost 11-4 in their recent non-league test against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX)
