Mississippi High School Baseball - St. Joseph Catholic holds off Canton Academy

In Friday's non-league game, the host St. Joseph Catholic Bruins baseball team scored a close 4-0 win over the Canton Academy Panthers.
The Bruins (4-2) will now prepare for their game against Copiah Academy (Gallman, MS). The Colonels go into the non-league game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Copiah Academy was overwhelmed by St. Joseph Catholic (Madison, MS), 12-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Panthers play the Hartfield Academy Hawks (Flowood, MS) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, February 25. Canton Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 5-0 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Brookhaven Academy (Brookhaven, MS).
