The Collinsville Pirates baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Howe Bulldogs to 1 in the Pirates non-league win on Friday.
The Pirates now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Callisburg for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. Collinsville will play a Wildcats team coming off a 9-2 non-league win over Commerce (Commerce, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Howe drops to 1-2 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Tom Bean (Tom Bean, TX) to play the Tomcats in a non-league test on Friday, February 21. The Tomcats go into the test with a record of 0-0.
