The Evangel Christian Lightning (Alabaster, AL) baseball trounced the host Crenshaw Christian Academy Cougars (Luverne, AL), 14-1 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Lightning now own a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Escambia Academy for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 21. Evangel Christian will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 non-league win over Monroe Academy (Monroeville, AL). The Cougars record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Crenshaw Christian Academy drops to 1-1 on the year. The Cougars travel to Hooper Academy (Hope Hull, AL) to clash with the Colts in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 24. The Colts go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Hooper Academy lost 10-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Patrician Academy (Butler, AL)
