The Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) baseball trounced the visiting East Jefferson Warriors (Metairie, LA), 12-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Ascension for a non-league challenge on Friday, February 21. Springfield will clash with a Spartans team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over French Settlement (French Settlement, LA). The Spartans record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, East Jefferson drops to 1-5 on the year. The Warriors travel to French Settlement (French Settlement, LA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 22.
