The Stafford Spartans baseball squad (Stafford, TX), was overwhelmed 7-0 in Friday's non-league contest with the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX)

With the triumph, Fort Bend Austin moves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Cypress Ridge (Houston, TX) to confront the Rams in a non-league contest on Thursday, February 27. The Rams come into the contest with a record of 1-3. Cypress Ridge lost 8-4 in their recent non-league contest against Cypress Lakes (Katy, TX)

The Spartans now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fort Bend Kempner for a non-league contest on Friday, February 21.
