The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) and the visiting Grant Cougars (Dry Prong, LA), saw New Iberia's baseball team beat Grant by a margin of 15-2.
The Yellowjackets (6-3) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary (Natchitoches, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, St. Mary was overwhelmed by Benton (Benton, LA), 12-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cougars face the Peabody Warhorses (Alexandria, LA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, February 21. Grant will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record.
