The West Fork Gators baseball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Huntsville Hornets to 5 in the Gators non-league win on Friday.

The Gators now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Terry for a non-league test on Saturday, February 22. West Fork will clash with a Rangers team coming off a 7-5 non-league win over Manvel (Manvel, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Huntsville drops to 1-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Navasota (Navasota, TX) to clash with the Rattlers in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 25. The Rattlers go into the test with a record of 2-2. Navasota won 5-3 in their recent non-league test against Mabank (Mabank, TX)
