The New Iberia Yellowjackets baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Lake Arthur Tigers to 4 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Leesville for a non-league test on Friday, February 21. New Iberia will play a Wampus Cats team coming off a 10-7 non-league win over Jena (Jena, LA). The Wampus Cats record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Lake Arthur drops to 0-6 on the year. The Tigers host LaSalle (Olla, LA) to play the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, February 21. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 1-2. LaSalle lost 13-12 in their recent non-league test against Caldwell Parish (Columbia, LA)
