In Friday's non-league test, the McConnellsburg Spartans (McConnellsburg, PA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Berlin Brothersvalley Mountaineers (Berlin, PA), by a score of 71-31.

Next, the Spartans encounter the Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 27. McConnellsburg will attempt to improve on its 23-1 season record.
