DeSmet Bulldogs (DeSmet, SD) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Oldham-Ramona/Rutland Rutland (Ramona, SD), 62-29 in a league match.
With the victory, DeSmet upgrades its record to 12-8 on the year.
The Rutland now sport a 3-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Great Plains Lutheran for a non-league match on Saturday, February 22. Oldham-Ramona/Rutland will face a Panthers squad coming off a 57-47 non-league loss to Waubay/Summit (Waubay, SD). The Panthers record now stands at 8-10.
