Minnesota High School Basketball - Lake of the Woods nips Floodwood

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Lake of the Woods Bears basketball team scored a close 40-38 triumph over the Floodwood Polar Bears.
The Bears (2-18) will now prepare for their contest against Kelliher/Northome (Northome, MN). The Mustangs go into the A Section 8 contest with a 10-12 record.
In their next game, the Polar Bears battle the Hill City Hornets (Hill City, MN) in a A Section 7 contest, on Monday, February 24. Floodwood will attempt to better on its 0-21 season record.
