The Pikeville Panthers basketball team scored 60 points and limited the visiting Floyd Central Jaguars to 53 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

The Panthers now have a 15-9 record. They play next when they travel to Shelby Valley for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 26. Pikeville will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 84-65 non-league win over East Ridge (Lick Creek, KY). The Wildcats record now stands at 16-11.

With the loss, Floyd Central falls to 9-17 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Betsy Layne (Betsy Layne, KY) to confront the Bobcats in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 25. The Bobcats go into the game with a record of 16-9. Betsy Layne won 75-64 in their recent non-league game against Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY)
