Indiana High School Basketball - North Vermillion bests Fountain Central

The North Vermillion Falcons (Cayuga, IN) basketball toppled the host Fountain Central Mustangs (Veedersburg, IN), 52-44 in Friday's league bout.

The Falcons now possess a 16-6 record. They play next when they travel to Seeger for a Wabash River bout on Friday, February 28. North Vermillion will play a Patriots team coming off a 67-51 league loss to Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 10-11.

With the loss, Fountain Central falls to 5-15 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Southmont (Crawfordsville, IN) to play the Mounties in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 22. The Mounties go into the bout with a record of 14-6. Southmont won 90-59 in their recent league bout against Frankfort (Frankfort, IN)
