Freeman Falcons (Adams, NE) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Sterling Jets (Sterling, NE), 69-32 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Freeman upgrades its record to 21-1 on the year.
The Jets now sport a 4-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dorchester for a non-league match on Monday, February 24. Sterling will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 70-22 non-league loss to McCool Junction (McCool Junction, NE). The Longhorns record now stands at 1-20.
