The High Point Wildcats (Sussex, NJ) basketball were winner over the visiting Pope John XXIII (Sparta, NJ), 64-47 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they travel to Mahwah for a non-league bout on Thursday, February 27. High Point will play a Thunderbirds team coming off a 44-41 non-league win over Emerson (Emerson, NJ). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 13-5.
With the loss, Pope John XXIII falls to 4-17 on the campaign. The travel to Seton Hall Prep (West Orange, NJ) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, February 28. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 20-6.
