In Friday's non-league contest, the host O'Connor Eagles basketball team scored a good 71-52 triumph over the Higley Knights.

The Eagles (19-8) will now prepare for their contest against Basha (Chandler, AZ). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 20-7 record. In their last contest, Basha topped Deer Valley (Glendale, AZ), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
