In Friday's non-league test, the Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN) basketball squad got by the visiting Norwell Knights (Ossian, IN), by a score of 51-49.

Next, the Patriots encounter the Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, February 25. Jay County will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Golden Falcons come into the test with a 11-11 record after their 53-42 league loss to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN).
