In Friday's league contest, the host Manchester Memorial Crusaders basketball team scored a good 72-61 triumph over the Merrimack Tomahawks.
The Crusaders (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Manchester, NH). The Pioneers go into the Division I contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Trinity topped Concord (Concord, NH), 81-35, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Tomahawks battle the Nashua North Titans (Nashua, NH) in a Division I contest, on Tuesday, February 25. Merrimack will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 5-13 record after their 66-41 league loss to Windham (Windham, NH).
